CLINTON HEALTH ACCESS INITIATIVE, INC. (CHAI)

 

The Clinton Health Access Initiative, Inc. (CHAI) is a global health organization committed to our mission of saving lives and reducing the burden of disease in low- and middle income countries. We work at the invitation of governments to support them and the private sector to create and sustain high-quality health systems.

 

CHAI began working in Vietnam in 2006 and has since partnered closely with the Ministry of Health and national programs across HIV, tuberculosis, malaria, immunization, digital health, and non-communicable diseases. In infectious diseases, CHAI has supported national efforts to improve access to prevention, diagnostic, treatment, and care services, including work on HIV prevention and treatment optimization, tuberculosis diagnosis and case finding, hepatitis C access, and the introduction of new health products and service delivery models.

 

CHAI Vietnam works in collaboration with the Vietnam Administration of Disease Prevention (VADP), provincial Centers for Disease Control (CDCs), health facilities, community-based partners, and CHAI global technical teams to support the implementation of infectious disease programs in Vietnam. Current and upcoming priorities include strengthening HIV, TB and hepatitis related services, supporting the introduction and scale-up of new products and service delivery models; and facilitating implementation with national and sub-national partners Lenacapavir based PrEP is one of the key new initiatives under this broader portfolio.  

 

CHAI is seeking a Program Manager to lead the implementation of all active projects under CHAI Vietnam’s infectious disease portfolio, with priority focus on HIV, TB, and hepatitis to further expand CHAI’s impact. The Program Manager will also be expected to contribute to the development of broader strategy and plan of CHAI in Vietnam. The position will be based in Hanoi, reporting directly to the Senior Program Manager and may require domestic and international travel up to 25% of the time.
